I LOVE SNOW!!!!
Here is Jake proudly trudging to the shed for the snow shovel that was needed for the first time this new snow season. He may or may not have been wearing is cowboy boots during the journey. If you wear boots, you will know that they aren't worth a kiss-your-butt in the snow. I think our neighbor Brent saw him sliding all over the driveway and felt so bad, he brought out his killer of a snow blower and let Jake use it. Super nice!
When Jake came inside, I told him to get back out there and shovel the front lawn since he cheated. His reply, "let's get a snow blower like that and I will. It was awesome!" I told him that he has to earn the snow blower...like 5 years of shoveling it by hand before he builds up enough shovel points to move up to the level of snow blower.
Just an FYI, my parents were very proud of the 6 inches they received during the storm, but that doesn't hold a candle to our two feet. Bless you lake effect for all you do to water my lawn and make those slopes so lovely and slippy!
