But things were going so well...

So I am having boy issues yet again. Jake and I are "seeing other ppl" but never of us have found others to see, so we see each other 3-5 nights a week. Things were going so well. I was enjoying our time...most of the time it was my projects, but he seemed happy enough to help. I even almost told him I loved him, but never quite got it out.

A week ago he asked me a multiple choice question.

1. Does he try to repair his car ($2,000) and register it
2. Does he trade in his car for a nice pretty truck (that he doesn't need right now)
3. Does he fix up his dads clunker ($1000ish) and drive it for a year to find himself debt free this time in 2011.

What did I choose...if you know me at all, it would have been door # 3. I failed to mention that he is $3000 upside down in the car, he can only get $5000 for his trade in, which is a crock if you ask me...he got screwed. And he is already $20,000 in debt. He takes my advice and that is what he WAS going to do on Monday.

Tuesday he shows up with roses. I asked him why I have roses...it came withi his suprise. Last I checked, old clunkers don't give out flowers...but brand new full sized, 4-door Chevy Silverado's do! I was shocked and I am sure to help lesson the blow on me...he made sure I knew it had butt warmers. My first thought was..."Oh so when you said that you wanted to buy me a ring in 2011, you were kidding. Okay, I know where I stand. Somewhere between a rational thought and a desperate desire to have what you want NOW!"

That is all I have energy for tonight...but tomorrow I will tell you the story of how someone was accused of NEVER paying for dinner and someone else broke Deloris...
