We all know that Ricky will accept and make a project his own if he thinks it is cute! Thus the 'Potters Cottage" was born. Ricky and I and a framer, Shane, helped us build it at the barn in Payson and Ricky craned it in to my house.
Picture power lines a little to close, two feet of snow, a small house flying in the air, and me being drug around by a crane strap as the Potters Cottage is drug down the side of my house... Bam! Bam! BAM BAM BAM! and Ricky in his warm crane operators booth and can't hear a damn thing I am yelling at him...you know stuff like. "Don't hit my house." "Don't drop it on me" "Don't go down yet, I'm under here" You know just some small things.
BUT...now it is in place, we have sided it and added doors and I still have all my limbs. Fancy! Jake and I sided it with old barn wood and I have learned that HE is a perfectionist and like the safe way of doing things...googles, gloves, safety guards on saws. I like to get the project done and off my list. I see may project fights in our future.
That was a hilarious post, you are funny :) That is awesome! Reading this made me miss Ricky a bit ;)
